Students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) have postponed the ongoing protests over of the death of their fellow Abrar Fahad from beating, till Wednesday morning.
The movement will resume in the following morning. But previously announced class-exam boycott programme will continue.
The protesters have unlocked the keys in different establishments, including VC building, of the campus.
Early Monday, Abrar Fahad, 21, a second year student of Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), was found dead at his dormitory Sher-e-Bangla Hall.
The dormitory students alleged that Fahad was beaten to death by Bangladesh Chhatra League men at one stage of questioning him on suspicion of Shibir following his facebook post over recent several deals with India.
Police have, so far, arrested 10 leaders of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in a case filed by Fahad's father over the murder. On Tuesday, the all accused were placed on 5-day remand
