CJ Syed Mahmud Hossain has called upon the lawyers to takeCovid 19 vaccine, informing that he was feeling well after inoculation.
"I've received my first jab and today I'm performing my duties without facing any problem," said the CJ while hearing a case at the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court on Monday.
Attorney General (AG) AM Amin Uddin who was attached to the Appellate Division informed that he would also receive the vaccine on Tuesday.
He also urged former AG AJ Mohammad Ali, Supreme Court Bar Association secretary Ruhul Quddus Kazal and former secretary Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, who were attending the session virtually, to get vaccinated.
Earlier on Sunday, the Chief Justice along with his wife received the Covid-19 vaccine at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital.
Over 50 lawyers from both the HC division and the Appellate Division also inoculated on the day.
