BNP’s affiliates Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal, Svechchasebak Dal and Chhatra Dal have organized a youth rally to ‘save the country’ at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital. At two o’clock in the morning, leaders and workers have started coming there. However, they are getting a chance to enter the gathering place inside the garden through only one gate.

As there is only one gate to enter, thousands of leaders and activists have gathered on the road ahead. Traffic on the road has been stopped. It has caused severe traffic jam.

Today Saturday at around 12:30 noon, such a situation was seen in Shah Bagh, Ramna Park and Matsya Bhavan Mor area.

At around 12:30 PM, the first thing that happened in front of the gate of Dhaka University’s TSC-adjacent Suhrawardy Udyan was that the gate was locked from inside. The members of law and order forces are stationed inside the park. Later, the gate adjacent to the Ramana Kali temple and the gate adjacent to the shrine of the three national leaders also witnessed the same situation.

If anyone wants to enter the garden through these gates, the police is informing them to enter through the gate of Engineers Institution Bangladesh-adjacent Suhrawardy Garden.

A sub-inspector of police said that for the sake of security, everyone has been instructed to enter through the same gate.

Later, when trying to move towards that gate from Shahbagh bus stand junction via Maulana Bhasani road, it can be seen that BNP leaders and workers are stationed on both sides of the road from National Tennis Complex and Shahbagh Shishu Park area. There is a huge crowd of leaders and activists coming from outside for the purpose of gathering as there is only one gate to enter the park.

In the meantime, the leaders and workers from various police stations and ward committees who are going to join the rally are rehearsing on the road by chanting slogans before entering the park.

They were chanting slogans like ‘The movement cannot be stopped with cases’, ‘The movement cannot be stopped by hiding’, ‘The fight will continue Khaleda Zia will fight’, ‘We need caretaker government at this moment’ etc.

In front of Bangladesh Supreme Court, Kadam Foara, Matsya Bhavan Mor, National Academy of Arts, Public Health and Engineering Department, a large number of leaders and activists who came to join the youth rally can be seen. Leaders and activists have come to join the rally from different parts of the country including the capital. Due to their presence, the roads in these areas were also heavily traffic jammed.
